2019 INFINITI QX50 EARNS NHTSA 5-STAR OVERALL SAFETY RATING
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) New Car Assessment Program has recognized the outstanding safety performance of the 2019 INFINITI QX50 by awarding their coveted 5-Star Overall Vehicle Safety Rating to both the Intelligent All-Wheel drive and front-wheel drive models.
"The safety of our customers and their passengers is one of our top priorities. With the 2019 INFINITI QX50, we introduced a suite of new driver assistance features, including ProPILOT Assist, which offer support when needed and further enhance the overall driving experience," said Jeff Pope, Group Vice President, INFINITI Americas. "We are pleased with NHTSA's recognition of our efforts to develop some of the safest cars on the road."
ProPILOT Assist is an active safety system available on the QX50 that combines two technologies: Advanced Intelligent Cruise Control which monitors speed and proximity to the next vehicle and dynamically adjusts cruising speed to maintain safe distances, and Lane Keep Assist, that actively aids in centering the QX50 within its highway lane.
The 2019 INFINITI QX50 is a shining example of INFINITI's pursuit of superior luxury automobiles. Its exquisite design, ground-breaking technology and exhilarating performance provide QX50 drivers with a sense of command over the road and safety within its richly appointed interior.
