The 2025 INFINITI QX80 Reimagines Luxury

The year’s most highly anticipated INFINITI vehicle is nearly upon us. After making its debut on March 20 at the New York International Auto Show, buzz is at a fever-pitch for this summer’s 2025 INFINITI QX80. It’s easy to see why. This isn’t just a luxurious three-row SUV; it’s an SUV that dares to reimagine what luxury is.

With understated yet detailed styling, ultramodern technology, and its smoothest driving experience to date, the INFINITI QX80 is here to set a new standard for automotive luxury. INFINITI of West Chester has more on what to expect from the luxury SUV when it arrives later this summer.

Bringing Art to Life

The QX80 has been overhauled and upgraded for its 2025 model year. The changes start under the hood, where the 5.6-liter V8 has been upgraded to a 3.5-liter V6, powering the QX80 with 450 hp and 515 lb.-ft. of torque. The SUV shifts through a nine-speed automatic gearbox, and Nissan has improved efficiency by adding active grille shutters to reduce drag.

But it’s what’s on the surface that will immediately command your attention. The 2025 QX80 is the first INFINITI model to be produced under the Artistry in Motion initiative – INFINITI's evolved design language. Indeed, the QX80 looks ripped from an oil painting. Its double-arch grille, inspired by the organic shapes of a bamboo forest, is the newest iteration of INFINITI’s signature grille design. Meanwhile, the QX80’s evenly proportioned body is bold and confident, projecting a sleek sense of motion despite the vehicle’s size.

Luxury with an Eastern Flair

If bold, evocative brushstrokes are the lynchpins of the QX80’s exterior design philosophy, the interior hinges on seamless technology integration. Heavily inspired by both Japanese and Kyoto artisan culture, the soft materials beautifully mesh with the SUV’s sinuous technological landscape to form a cohesive, ultramodern cabin.

A pair of 14.3-inch displays highlight the interior experience, and are instrumental in providing the Front Wide View feature. A technology making its global debut, Front Wide View uses camera information to provide a wide, 170-degree view to the sides of the vehicle across both display screens. This gives the driver a bird’s eye view of parked cars and tight corners while turning.

Indeed, if an SUV is only as accomplished as its list of features, the 2025 QX80 could retire today with its spot in the Automotive Hall of Fame locked up. INFINITI-first features include:

  • Dual 14.3-inch monolith style displays
  • Remote Control Rear Seat
